COMPANY HISTORY

1974

Management Performance International, Inc. (MPI Consulting) was founded in 1974 by Anthony P. D’Eramo who also served as CEO. Tony led MPI to become nationally recognized for developing and implementing successful Human Resource systems and processes that resulted in innovative and effective changes.

2000

James L. Taylor joined the company in 1996 and purchased Management Performance International, Inc. in 2000. His areas of expertise include employee and labor relations with American and international organizations in diverse industries. Jim co-authored Connecting Top Manager – Developing Executive Teams for Business Success, published by FT Press, 2011.

2011

John Hawkins acquired Management Performance International, Inc. in 2011 and serves as President and CEO. He started his professional career at Procter and Gamble where he spent 17 years progressing through the company in positions of greater responsibility in Sales, Marketing, Human Resources, Operations and International (where he was Head of Sales for P&G’s company business in Brazil). John is an internationally experienced executive, consultant, key note speaker and corporate trainer. He has worked with hundreds of companies helping them to accelerate their business performance by improving their strategies, developing their people and developing pragmatic implementation solutions. John is a seasoned executive with a proven track record of success having worked for and with some of the world’s leading blue chip companies, such as Procter & Gamble, Kellogg’s, Novartis, Glendinning Management Consulting and BAT.

John Hawkins has continued MPI’s legacy as one of the top 5 national labor consulting practices. Most recently achieving recognition as Emerging 30, Supplier of the Year and a nomination for Company of the Year by the Cincinnati and Northern KY Chambers of Commerce the past 2 years.
